Hi, I’m Daniel Sinoca, a digital artist with a passion for all things creative. I grew up in São Paulo, Brazil, where I fell in love with art at a young age. I started studying traditional art at 14, which sparked my passion for creativity.
After high school, I landed a job in advertising, where I honed my skills in design and visual concepts. In an era before digital design took prominence, I crafted everything manually. This hands-on approach, while challenging, was invaluable. It laid a strong foundation, teaching me the nuances of my craft and instilling a deep sense of dedication and hard work.
A few years later, I earned a BA in Communications from Universidade São Judas Tadeu, with a focus on TV and Radio Production. During my studies, I also had the opportunity to work for local and national radio stations, which was an amazing experience.
After completing my studies, I embarked on a multifaceted multimedia design journey. Throughout my career, I’ve worn many hats—graphic and web designer, video editor and producer, photographer, and digital artist.
Whether working independently as a freelancer or collaboratively in-house, I’ve contributed significantly in roles ranging from graphic designer to art director. Over the past two decades, my collaboration with diverse publishing houses and advertising agencies has centered on delivering exceptional creative solutions, reflecting both my versatility and dedication to the craft.
My work covers many creative areas, including digital art, video editing, and website development. I’ve had the chance to work with clients from different parts of the world, showcasing the versatility and breadth of my skills.
Moreover, my creations have been showcased in well-known publications, including magazines such as Photoshop Creative, Photoshop Fácil, World of Animals, Gadget Magazine, All About History, Horzu, among others. This recognition in various magazines underscores the reach and impact of my work in the creative domain.
For seven years, I contributed tutorials to Photoshop Creative and Photoshop Elements magazines at Future Publishing, sharing my passion for digital art with a global community of artists, designers, and enthusiasts. My tutorials were featured in over 80 issues of the magazine, providing readers with insights, tips, and techniques to take their creative skills to the next level.
As a digital artist, I constantly seek the latest tools and techniques to refine my craft. Attending events like NAB, SIGGRAPH, and Comic-Con allows me to immerse myself in cutting-edge trends. Residing in Southern California alongside my wonderful wife and son, every project I undertake is fueled by both tradition and innovation. My goal remains steadfast: to consistently produce captivating and fresh artwork that resonates.
